We focus on the act of drawing: noticing the movement of your hand, the texture of the paper, and the rhythm of each line. It’s a way to bring our awareness to the present moment, which can help our brains regulate our emotions.

Research shows that engaging in creative activities can soothe the nervous system and help reduce anxiety.

So I invite you to pause, put down your phone, and draw along with me, one mindful stroke at a time.
